Early Craigen strike wins it for Dunfermline

James Craigen’s early goal proved enough for Dunfermline as they secured a 1-0 Ladbrokes Championship win over struggling Inverness.
Craigen hit a 20-yard free-kick into the bottom corner after six minutes for what proved to be the only goal of the game at East End Park.
Lee Robinson got down sharply to save Aaron Doran’s header two minutes after the break as Caley Thistle chased an equaliser, while at the other end Craigen’s shot was tipped round the post by Mark Ridgers.
The Pars were unlucky not to extend their lead as Declan McManus headed against a post and Ridgers denied Kallum Higginbotham in the closing stages.
