League One leaders Raith suffer second straight loss

Raith failed to extend their advantage at the top of the Ladbrokes League One table after slipping to a second consecutive defeat.
Matthew Aitken scored twice to earn Forfar a 2-1 victory and, although Lewis Vaughan pulled one back, they could not find an equaliser.
It was a vital triumph for Forfar that saw them pull clear of relegation play-off zone.
Alloa were another of the promotion-chasing sides to slip up as they also suffered a 2-1 defeat at the hands of East Fife.
Kevin Smith opened the scoring for the visitors in the 54th minute but the lead was short-lived as Garry Fleming levelled from the spot for Alloa just four minutes later.
Chris Duggan then restored the Fifers’ lead before Alloa’s task was made tougher by the dismissal of Fleming as East Fife held on for victory.
Ryan Conroy and Darryl Duffy were on target as Airdrie came from behind to beat Stranraer 2-1 and Albion and Queen’s Park played out a 1-1 draw.
