Dimitar Berbatov Savages Manager David James On Social Media

Sometimes you don't need to be a good footballer to be a good manager and sometimes being an average footballer means you are also a rubbish manager. Dimitar Berbatov definitely thinks that's the case for David James.
It's not that David James was a dreadful goalkeeper, in fact at times he was very good. Unfortunately he did have the occasional dreadful moment in his locker, in fact it was far more than occasionally.
Those utterly farcical mistakes is how he came to be known as 'Calamity James' and in the end his most memorable contribution to the Premier League was the time Stuart Pearce had an outfield shirt ready for him to play upfront for Manchester City, and he did!
James is now a manager which might seem surprising but then when you realise it's in the Indian Super League it suddenly becomes slightly less surprising.
He's in charge of Kerala Blasters whose players include former Manchester United teammates Wes Brown and Dimitar Berbatov but despite that star power they failed to make the end of season play-offs.
On his way back to Bulgaria Berba obviously wasn't feeling too happy about his manager and posted on his Instagram story:
#worsttacticaladvice and #worstwannabecoachever might be amongst the most brutal descriptions anyone has ever given to a football manager but it's so wonderfully Berbatov.
525 minutes spent on the pitch in ISL but his best moment has to be this. Man doesn't give a damn. Typical Berbatov. Shots fired at coach David James here. pic.twitter.com/d3QMWmE3V0

The Blasters finished sixth in the league although results did improve in the second half of the season under James after he took over from former Fulham manager René Meulensteen after the Dutchman was sacked in January.
The team qualified for the Super Cup but it looks like Berba will be back chilling in Bulgaria rather than playing for James again.
