Millwall vs Sunderland - Millwall report no new injury worries for Sunderland clash

Millwall boss Neil Harris has no fresh injuries worries as he prepares to defend an unbeaten eight-game Sky Bet Championship run against bottom-of-the-table Sunderland.

Striker Aiden O’Brien has returned to training after an ankle injury which has sidelined him since the end of last month and will hope he can play some part.

Veteran frontman Tim Cahill, who scored an FA Cup semi-final winner against the Black Cats in April 2004, has appeared as a late substitute in three of the last four games and will be keen for further involvement.

Defender Byron Webster remains Harris’ only long-term casualty as he continues his recovery from a knee injury which will keep him out for the rest of the season.

Sunderland manager Chris Coleman hopes to have midfield duo Ovie Ejaria and Kazenga LuaLua available.

The pair have missed the last three games with thigh and ankle injuries respectively, but have a good chance of making it this time around and if so, they will be joined by loan striker Ashley Fletcher, who was ineligible to play against parent club Middlesbrough last weekend.

However, defender Jake Clarke-Salter starts a three-match ban following his sending-off in the 3-3 draw with Boro, while midfielder Paddy McNair faces up to three weeks on the sidelines after picking up a groin injury during the same game.

He joins Robbin Ruiter, Marc Wilson, Darron Gibson and Duncan Watmore on the sidelines.
