AFC Wimbledon sweating on Darius Charles’ fitness

Darius Charles remains an injury doubt for AFC Wimbledon’s home clash with Sky Bet League One leaders Blackburn.
The Dons defender missed Saturday’s 1-1 draw at Peterborough with a hip problem he sustained against Bristol Rovers and will be assessed.
Boss Neal Ardley has no fresh injury or suspension problems for a game which chief executive Erik Samuelson is confident will go ahead despite this week’s extreme weather.
He told the South London Press: “You can’t tell with this weather, but at the moment there is nothing to say it won’t be played. There is no question of a pitch inspection because there isn’t a severe doubt.”
Bradley Dack is set to return to Blackburn’s squad.
Midfielder Dack missed Saturday’s win at Walsall after feeling unwell but has since been back in training.
Striker Danny Graham, who scored twice against the Saddlers, and midfielder Elliott Bennett played with illnesses at the weekend and they will once again travel with Tony Mowbray’s squad.
Rovers defender Lewis Travis completes a three-match ban, while Craig Conway (hamstring), Peter Whittingham (calf) and Ben Gladwin (knee) are unlikely to return.
