Dagenham secure comeback victory against struggling Chester

Two late goals helped Dagenham & Redbridge to an unlikely 3-2 victory over relegation-threatened Chester.
The hosts took the lead after 11 minutes when Matt Robinson teed up Fejiri Okenabirhie on the edge of the penalty area to curl in via a post for his sixth league goal in eight matches. However, Chester were level before half-time through Jordan Archer after the striker turned in Gary Roberts’ cross.
The visitors took a shock lead just after the hour mark when Dagenham goalkeeper Mark Cousins kept out an initial effort from Dominic Vose but Billy Waters was on hand to tap home the rebound. But they were to be denied all three points with two goals in three minutes.
Okenabirhie grabbed his second of the match with five minutes left when he found the bottom corner, before Chester defender Andy Halls headed into his own net two minutes from time to hand Dagenham victory.
