Wenger: Guardiola approached me about playing for Arsenal

Arsenal boss Arsene Wenger has revealed how Manchester City rival Pep Guardiola wanted to play for the Gunners.
Guardiola tried to make the move when leaving Barcelona.
The Frenchman praised his footballing philosophy.
"I have spoken to him on various occasions, one time he came to my house because he wanted to play for Arsenal," said Wenger in an interview with beIN.
"He has had some exceptional teams and trained them very well. I respect what he does because he has a clear vision of the game and positive attitude and philosophy.
"Even if he doesn't win because of it, I respect him for the influence that he has on the game."
