Morton climbed into fourth place in the Scottish Championship standings after a 1-1 draw with Queen of the South.
Stephen Dobbie opened the scoring for Queens after he wrong-footed Morton goalkeeper Derek Gaston.
Gary Oliver then came back to haunt his former club when he equalised in the 55th minute.
The was some controversy towards the end of the match when Dobbie thought he had scored the winner when the ball appeared to have crossed the line before Gaston made the save.
However, the goal was ruled out as Morton played on and both sides ended up sharing the points.
