Ryan Hardie scored a first-half double as Livingston recovered from an early setback to beat Scottish Championship leaders St Mirren 4-1.
Ryan Flynn opened the scoring for the Buddies in the second minute after a scramble in the box, but Livi were back on level terms in the ninth minute after Hardie capitalised on a defensive mix-up and rolled the ball into an open net.
The striker added his second six minutes later when he volleyed past St Mirren goalkeeper Craig Samson before Lee Miller added the hosts’ third with an overhead kick in the 22nd minute.
Hardie almost claimed his hat-trick midway through the second half but his long-range effort hit the crossbar and flew over in the 70th minute, but Scott Robinson added Livi’s fourth in stoppage time.
Livingston’s win leaves them second in the table but they cut the gap on their visitors to 11 points.
