Oxford stunned by Bristol Rovers comeback

Bristol Rovers hit back with two goals in 12 minutes in the second half to beat Oxford 2-1 and make it five away league games without defeat.
The Pirates recovered from falling behind very early on with strikes from Kyle Bennett and Ellis Harrison, and they deserved the three points after dominating the second half.
The U’s capitalised on a poor clearance by keeper Adam Smith to open the scoring in the second minute.
Isaac Buckley-Ricketts fired the ball forward and Wes Thomas set up Joe Rothwell who hammered a left-footed drive into the top corner.
The visitors almost levelled from a Chris Lines header that Simon Eastwood tipped over, and Harrison headed just wide.
Bennett equalised when he shot home in a crowded box in the 68th minute after Oxford failed to clear Lines’s cross from a free kick.
Two minutes later Bennett almost scored again with a curling shot that Eastwood turn around his post.
But in the 80th minute Harrison completed the turnaround, volleying home superbly from Ollie Clarke’s cross.
