Alex Jakubiak scored twice as Falkirk sealed their place in the William Hill Scottish Cup quarter-finals with a 3-1 victory at Cove Rangers.
Jakubiak slotted Falkirk into a second-minute lead but moments later the Highland Football League side were level when Mitch Megginson fired past Conor Hazard.
The Bairns almost fell behind midway through the first half when Hazard and Paul Watson were involved in a mix-up but the goalkeeper managed to hold the ball on the line.
Falkirk also raced out of the blocks in the second half, this time scoring two goals inside two minutes to seal their progression.
Craig Sibbald restored the Ladbrokes Championship side’s lead in the 46th minute with a volley before Jakubiak raced clear of the Wee Rangers defence and netted his second.
