Ian Henderson hits winner as Rochdale dump Millwall out of FA Cup

Rochdale booked their place in the fifth round of the FA Cup with a 1-0 win against Championship side Millwall at the Crown Oil Arena.
Neil Harris’ Lions never got going in this fourth-round replay played on a difficult, sandy surface.
Ian Henderson netted the game’s only goal eight minutes into the second half to set up a fifth-round clash with either Tottenham or Newport.
There was little to choose between the teams in the first half, Rochdale making most of the early running with Millwall growing stronger as the half wore on.
In the opening minute Matt Done’s deflected shot from the edge of the area ran into the path of Andy Cannon, the pace of the ball just too much for Cannon who was unable to guide it inside David Martin’s near post.
Cannon’s deflected cross early in the second period almost crept inside Martin’s post and a goalmouth scramble ended with Mark Kitching’s effort being blocked by Jason Shackell. At the other end, Ryan Tunnicliffe tested Josh Lillis from range with a rising drive.
The breakthrough arrived in the 53rd minute when Calvin Andrew bustled his way past Shaun Hutchinson on the left of the penalty area and teed up Henderson to slot wide of Martin from six yards.
