Wrexham go top with win at Guiseley

Wrexham went top of the National League on goal difference with a 2-0 win at struggling Guiseley.
Dean Keates’ men took the lead midway through the first half when Chris Holroyd made no mistake with a one-on-one, rounding Luke Coddington before slotting home.
Coddington kept the home side in with a sniff in the second half, pulling off a great block from close range from Holroyd.
But it was largely one-way traffic and a Paul Rutherford corner was nodded in by captain Shaun Pearson to put the match beyond doubt.
As the Dragons extended their unbeaten run to eight matches, a forlorn Guiseley were left with just one win in 16.
