Lazar Stojsavljevic heads Woking to upset win over Fylde

Lazar Stojsavljevic’s header early in the second half earned Woking a shock 1-0 victory which saw Fylde drop out of the Vanarama National League play-off places as a result.
Jonny Smith had two early efforts as Fylde started the better of the two sides but the visitors were lucky to see a flicked effort from Josh Staunton come back off the bar.
Woking’s on-loan QPR striker Reece Grego-Cox forced Jay Lynch into a good save on the half hour before an unmarked Sam Finley fired over for Fylde.
The home side got the only goal after 49 minutes as Stojsavljevic’s looping header hit the post before the ball hit Lynch and then crossed the line.
