Brentford vs Norwich City - Brentford defender Rico Henry to miss Norwich visit
Posted Friday, January 26, 2018 by PA
Rico Henry is Brentford’s only absentee for the visit of Norwich.
The full-back remains on the long-term casualty list with a knee injury but the Bees have an otherwise fully-fit squad.
Defenders Henrik Dalsgaard (heel) and John Egan (concussion) came through a reserve match to prove their fitness.
Alan Judge and Lewis Macleod, who are continuing to build up their match fitness following long-term injuries, also featured to push their case for places in the squad.
Norwich could put new signings midfielder Moritz Leitner and winger Onel Hernandez straight into the squad.
Striker Dennis Srbeny has also been brought in from Germany by Canaries boss Daniel Farke, but is waiting on some paperwork to be eligible for Saturday’s match.
Midfielder Wes Hoolahan (hip) and defender Ivo Pinto (knee) will miss the trip to Griffin Park, while Mario Vrancic (leg) will be assessed along with Tom Trybull (back).
On-loan Tottenham midfielder Marcus Edwards has resumed full training following a minor back problem, but will not be involved. Winger Matt Jarvis (ankle) and midfielder Louis Thompson (Achilles) continue their rehabilitation.
