Fylde claimed their third-straight win and moved into the Vanarama National League play-offs thanks to a comfortable 3-0 victory over Maidstone at Mill Farm on Tuesday night.
The home side took the lead 13 minutes in as midfielder Andy Bond got on the end of Sam Finley’s cross to put the Coasters in front with his second goal in two games.
National League top scorer Danny Rowe hit the woodwork on the half-hour mark and his persistence paid off as he doubled their lead with his 16th league goal of the season three minutes before the break.
The visitors came close to pulling a goal back through both Darius Osei and Delano Sam-Yorke but Fylde put the game beyond doubt as Jordan Tunnicliffe added the gloss with six minutes remaining.
