Oxford without Jack Payne against Bury
Posted Friday, January 19, 2018 by PA
Oxford are without Jack Payne when Bury visit in League One on Saturday.
Forward Payne was recalled from his loan with United by Huddersfield and then joined Blackburn on a short-term deal.
The arrivals of Cameron Brannagan, Isaac Buckley-Ricketts and Rob Dickie provide options, though.
Left-back Ricardinho serves the final game of a three-match ban for his dismissal against MK Dons, but Curtis Nelson (Achilles), Joe Rothwell (hamstring), Rob Hall and Ivo Pekalski (both knee) remain out.
Bury will play their first game since Chris Lucketti was sacked as manager on Monday.
Ryan Lowe and Ryan Kidd have been put in charge of the first team until the end of the season, with the club without a win since November.
Craig Jones (thigh), Jermaine Beckford (knee) and Eoghan O’Connell (ruptured ligaments) are all out.
Bury sit bottom of League One, 12 points adrift of safety.
