Posted Friday, January 19, 2018 by PA
Fleetwood could have Ashley Eastham back for Saturday’s League One game at home to Blackburn.
Eastham has missed the last three matches but is close to recovering from a leg injury.
Bobby Grant is also pushing for a start after impressing as a substitute against Leicester in midweek.
Fleetwood sit 11th in the table, seven points adrift of the play-off spots.
New signing Jack Payne is set for his Blackburn debut after joining this week.
The Huddersfield midfielder’s loan spell at Oxford was cancelled allowing him to sign for Rovers until the end of the season.
Peter Whittingham is likely to be out for a month with the calf strain which kept him sidelined last weekend while fellow midfielder Corry Evans (thigh) will sit out his second successive match.
Ben Gladwin (knee) is three to four weeks away from fitness while defender Darragh Lenihan (foot) is set to rejoin full training next week.
