The Frenchman, 30, has been struggling for form this season as the reigning La Liga and Champions League winners lie in fourth position.
And according to Diario Gol, Gunners boss Arsene Wenger has offered him an escape route.
The manager is said to fancy the international as a replacement for Alexis Sanchez, who is nearing a move to Man United or Man City.
And if the move does go ahead, Arsenal's players are in for an eye-popping surprise at their car park.
Benzema – thought to demand a transfer fee of around £53m – owns an incredible fleet of luxury supercars.
He has splashed the cash on motors including a Ferrari 458 Spider, Mercedes SLR McLaren and and Audi RS6 C7.
The ex-Lyon hitman is also pictured alongside a number of Bugatti cars, including the Veyron that tops speeds of around 250mph.
And when he doesn't quite fancy the road, Benzema also has a private jet he can call on too.
Reports suggest Arsenal have already tabled a bid of £36m, and it is not yet clear if they are willing to go higher.
