St Mirren extended their lead at the Ladbrokes Championship summit after they beat Inverness 1-0 in Paisley.
Gavin Reilly scored his 20th goal of the season to put the Buddies ahead in the 26th minute when Cammy Smith picked him out in the box and he squeezed the ball home from a tight angle.
Inverness tested St Mirren keeper Craig Samson several times, with the 33-year-old clawing the ball off the line in the 51st minute and denying Connor Bell at the near post with five minutes remaining.
However, with second-placed Dundee United falling to a 6-1 defeat at struggling Falkirk, St Mirren extended their lead at the top to six points.
