Accrington's New Year's Day Sky Bet League Two clash with Morecambe was abandoned at half-time following persistent rainfall in Lancashire with the hosts leading 1-0.
Prolific striker Billy Kee had scored what he thought was his 15th goal of the season on 27 minutes after he bundled home Kayden Jackson's cross.
But the continued rain made continues tough and led to referee Graham Salisbury calling off the game at the break.
