Valencia striker Rafa Mir is set to join Real Madrid in the coming days with a deal between both clubs practically finalised for a fee of 500,000 euros, and he will initially form part of the youth team.
Mir debuted in the Champions League under former-Valencia coach Nuno Espiritu Santo, against Zenit in November, 2015, and he was set to join Los Blancos last summer but finally the Valencia board decided against it.
He has had his chances limited at Valencia having turned down the chance to extend his current contract and will be a star signing for Solari's youth team. His eagerness to join the Bernabeu club was seen by his presence at the recent Clasico on December 23rd.
