Marcelino's car written off in horror Christmas Eve accident

When you see the aftermath of Marcelino's car accident on Christmas Eve, you realise the Spanish coach was incredibly fortunate to leave hospital fairly promptly and enjoy the holiday season with his family.
Following a collision with a wild boar in the middle of the Logrono highway, Valencia's coach swerved off the road completely.
An image taken by a fireman at the scene shows a vehicle completely written off as a direct result of the impact.
Fortunately for Marcelino and his family, he escaped unscathed and the Asturian is already focusing on the upcoming winter trip with the senior team.
