Dundee United keep up the pressure on St Mirren with win over Livingston

Dundee United kept up the pressure on St Mirren at the summit of the Ladbrokes Championship table with a 3-0 victory over Livingston.
Paul McMullan struck twice and Scott McDonald also scored at Tannadice, but the win was not enough to overtake leaders St Mirren following their 3-2 success at Queen of the South.
United fielded an unchanged team and their continuity was rewarded through an early lead from McMullan, who evaded a number of defenders before slotting the ball beneath keeper Gary Maley.
The goal had been coming following a series of mix-ups in the Livingston defence, which was looking far from assured.
McDonald doubled the lead shortly before half-time with a routine finish following good approach work from Jamie Robson and Scott Fraser before McMullan added a late third.
