Ryan Wallace penalty brace earns Stranraer a draw

Stranraer and Albion Rovers shared three penalties in an entertaining 2-2 Ladbrokes League One draw at Stair Park.

Alan Trouten twice put the visitors ahead, first with a close-range finish then from 12 yards, but his efforts were cancelled out by a pair of spot-kicks from Ryan Wallace.

His second came in the 88th minute, snatching away the prospect of a first victory since September for Rovers.

Rovers had captured just one point from the last 18 but Trouten broke the deadlock in the seventh minute, sniffing out the rebound after Cameron Belford's save.

Stranraer lost captain Steven Bell to injury but were still able equalise eight minutes from the interval, Wallace despatching a penalty which was disputed strongly enough for Rovers boss Brian Kerr to be sent to the stands.

Trouten's 13th of the season followed from the spot after Morgyn Neill's handball but Wallace's power penalty guaranteed a point each.
