Swansea City vs Manchester City - Wayne Routledge a fitness concern for Swansea
Posted Wednesday, December 13, 2017 by PA
Wayne Routledge is a fitness doubt for Swansea's attempt to stop Manchester City completing a Premier League record of 15 consecutive wins.
Routledge complained of muscle tightness after making only his second league start of the season in Saturday's win against West Brom.
Federico Fernandez is in contention to return in defence after missing four games following the death of his father.
Premier League leaders Manchester City will be without captain Vincent Kompany.
Kompany was withdrawn at half-time during Sunday's derby win at Manchester United with a muscular injury but the club are hopeful the problem is not serious.
Fellow defenders John Stones (hamstring) and Benjamin Mendy (knee) also remain on the sidelines.
