Quick-fire Dobbie treble earns Queen of the South victory

Stephen Dobbie's 17-minute hat-trick followed Chris Kane's first-half brace as Queen of the South leapfrogged Dunfermline in the Scottish Championship with a 5-2 victory at East End Park.
Kane opened the scoring in the eighth minute when he collected Andy Stirling's backheel and dispatched into the net, while the on-loan St Johnstone striker doubled the visitors' advantage with a fine strike just before the half hour.
Nicky Clark pulled one back from close range shortly after half-time but Dobbie restored the Doonhammers' two-goal cushion in the 74th minute with his effort from the edge of the area.
Dobbie added his second six minutes later from the penalty spot after Lyndon Dykes had been fouled in the area by Callum Morris and then completed his hat-trick - after Declan McManus had pulled one back - with a simple finish after a nice move.
Queen of the South move up third in the standings, with Dunfermline slipping to fifth after seeing their winless run in the Championship stretch to six games.
