Fleetwood Town vs Hereford - Fleetwood sweating on Lewis Coyle fitness
Posted Friday, December 01, 2017 by PA
Fleetwood are hoping to have defender Lewie Coyle available for the FA Cup second-round clash with Hereford.
The wing-back has been sidelined since the first-round win over Chorley through suspension and a broken hand but should be available.
That would free striker Wes Burns, who has been filling in for Coyle, to offer competition up front to the likes of Jordy Hiwula, Devante Cole and Ash Hunter.
There is an outside chance that Conor McAleny (ankle) could also return but Bobby Grant (knee) definitely remains sidelined.
Southern League side Hereford will be unable to call on the services of striker Eliot Richards.
The club have now received international clearance for Richards, signed from Merthyr Town, but he is cup-tied, as is Bristol City loanee Cameron Pring.
This is the furthest Hereford have got in the competition since the formation of the club nearly three years ago following the winding up of Hereford United and they are set to take more than 1,000 fans to Highbury.
John Mills will be hoping to add to his tally of seven goals in the competition this season but Tyrone Duffus, Pablo Haysham and Calvin Dinsley are all struggling with hamstring injuries.
