Port Vale are hoping on-loan Bournemouth midfielder Ben Whitfield will be fit to return for their FA Cup second-round clash with Yeovil.
The 21-year-old has been out for the past month with an ankle injury.
Veteran defender Adam Yates is unavailable after suffering horrific injuries while playing for the reserves during the week.
The 34-year-old, who has not featured in League Two this season, broke his nose, cheekbone, eye sockets, jaw and wrist in a collision with an opponent.
Yeovil will have Bevis Mugabi available again after completing a three-match ban but fellow defender Sid Nelson is still suspended.
Nelson must sit out two more games for his sending off against Notts County on November 21.
Manager Darren Way has no fresh injury concerns.
Forward Francois Zoko was substituted as a precautionary measure against Plymouth in the Checkatrade Trophy in midweek to protect him for the game.
