St Mirren go top after fighting back to beat Livingston

St Mirren climbed to the top of the Ladbrokes Championship after coming from behind to beat Livingston 3-1.

Dale Carrick sent the visitors into the half-time break 1-0 up but the Buddies rallied after the interval to take the points through goals from Lewis Morgan, Adam Eckersley and Ian McShane.

Livingston went ahead after 30 minutes when Craig Samson could not hold Joshua Mullin's shot and Carrick turned home the rebound.

The Buddies levelled six minutes after the restart when a short corner was played to Morgan who drilled his shot beyond Neil Alexander.

And Morgan turned provider when St Mirren took a 66th-minute lead as he played in Eckersley to slot past Alexander.

Victory was wrapped up from the spot when McShane converted after Declan Gallagher brought down Jack Baird.
