Marcus Antonsson scored his fourth goal in as many Sky Bet League One games as Blackburn beat Blackpool 4-2 at Bloomfield Road.
Tony Mowbray's side scored two goals in either half to move up to fourth in the table and claimed their fourth successive league win in the process.
Rovers were gifted a 25th-minute lead when Kelvin Mellor underhit a backpass and it was pounced on by Antonsson who stroked in from eight yards.
Mellor atoned four minutes later by climbing highest to meet Jay Spearing's superb free-kick to power a header into the bottom corner for 1-1.
Blackburn were once again gifted the lead on the stroke of half-time when Sean Longstaff's clearance was charged down by Bradley Dack, who slotted home.
They extended their advantage thanks to Charlie Mulgrew's seventh goal of the season, with the defender striking a powerful free-kick into the bottom corner.
Paul Downing bundled in his first Rovers goal after 67 minutes with substitute Danny Philliskirk finding the bottom corner for a 75th-minute consolation goal.
