Substituted in the 55th minute in order to catch the birth of his son, Wigan winger Ryan Colclough scored two goals in his side's 3-0 victory over Doncaster Rovers on Tuesday night.
The 22-year-old received a nod from his father and that indicated that his partner's waters had broken, leading Colclough to run down the tunnel and make it in time, dressed in his complete Wigan kit.
"It was a great feeling," Colclough said as he arrived with 30 minutes to spare.
The Englishman will be hoping that he can continue his great form as Wigan play Rotherham on Saturday.
