Croatia's World Cup Kit Is A Traditional Classic

Ever since Davor Suker, Zvonimir Boban, Robert Prosinecki and co burst onto the international scene in the mid '90s, impressing at Euro '96 and then storming their way to a third place finish at the 1998 World Cup, the footballing world has been in love with Croatia's kits. And rightfully so.
The white and red checkers have adorned some of the greatest players of the last 20 years and fuel countless nostalgic memories of international tournaments gone by. And Nike have thankfully produced the goods for Luka Modric and his mates for next year's World Cup, in Russia.
The checkers are bigger and bolder than usual, but every bit as eye catching, as you can see from the pictures below.
The shirt will be complemented by white shorts and blue socks.
I'll be honest, Nike, or anyone else for that matter, will struggle to ever top Lotto's sublime efforts of the '90s, much like when the WWE tries to release new t-shirts for old wrestlers when they return (just leave Austin 3:16 as it is, lads) but even still, this is another sterling effort.
But let's remind ourselves of those beauties anyway...
Croatia's away kit is yet to be revealed, although it is expected to follow the traditional blue design with checkers down the sides as in previous years.
