Scunthorpe United vs Northampton - Scunthorpe fretting over Morris for Northampton replay
Posted Tuesday, November 14, 2017 by PA
Scunthorpe midfielder Josh Morris is an injury doubt for his side's home FA Cup first-round replay against Northampton.
Morris was withdrawn at half-time in Saturday's win against Bristol Rovers and will be assessed, while fellow midfielder Andrew Crofts is on international duty with Wales.
Conor Townsend could return to contention following a hamstring injury, but skipper and fellow defender Rory McArdle will be monitored after returning from international duty with Northern Ireland.
Midfielder Sam Mantom (groin), plus forwards Luke Williams (hamstring) and Jonathon Margetts (knee) remain sidelined.
Northampton forward Daniel Powell is doubtful after being forced out of Saturday's win at Oxford due to an unspecified injury and will be assessed.
Midfielder John-Joe O'Toole was also withdrawn but is expected to be fit following a recent ankle injury and striker Sam Hoskins could return to contention after a muscle strain.
Defender Brendan Moloney and midfielder Matt Crooks both returned to the squad at the weekend after respective knee injuries and will be available.
Striker Alex Revell (groin), plus defenders Aaron Phillips (thigh) and Leon Barnett (Achilles) are still out.
