Charlton won't take Truro lightly

Charlton boss Karl Robinson has vowed to field a strong team in Sunday's FA Cup first-round clash with Vanarama National League South Truro.

Robinson made 11 changes for the midweek Checkatrade Trophy victory over Fulham Under-21s, and has since admitted he had selected his team for the weekend fixture before that game.

Summer signings Mark Marshall, who was a second-half substitute in the last league game after recovering from a calf problem, and Ben Reeves are expected to start after struggling for fitness during the early weeks of the season.

However, fellow midfielder Ahmed Kashi is suspended after picking up his fifth booking of the season in the 1-0 League One victory over Wimbledon on Saturday, while defenders Harry Lennon and Lewis Page are still sidelined by groin injuries.

Truro have a fully-fit squad to pick from for the biggest game in the club's history.

The White Tigers are the first Cornish side to reach the first round of the FA Cup in 48 years.

Charlton will need to keep a close eye on attacking midfielder Noah Keats, who recently returned from college in the United States and is the team's leading scorer with seven goals.

Ben Harding, River Allen, Tyler Harvey, Connor Riley-Lowe and Jamie Richards all boast Football League experience.
