Maidstone stunned Sky Bet League Two side Cheltenham with a 4-2 FA Cup first-round win at Whaddon Road.
The Vanarama National League club led 3-0 at half-time and despite being reduced to 10 men in the second half they had done enough to progress to round two.
Delano Sam-Yorke headed in the opening goal in the 20th minute after a cross from Seth Nana Ofori-Twumasi.
Less than a minute later it was 2-0 as Joe Pigott capitalised on a mistake from Taylor Moore and fired home.
Zavon Hines lifted the third over Scott Flinders after Jai Reason's fine pass in the 43rd minute and Cheltenham were booed off at the break.
They pulled one back through Kevin Dawson's header in the 53rd minute after a cross from Mohamed Eisa.
But a minute later Sam-Yorke scored his second to make it 4-1.
He was shown a straight red for a foul on Eisa in the 57th minute and Cheltenham pulled another back four minutes later.
Brian Graham's header was saved, but the rebound hit Alex Finney and rolled into his own net.
Dawson was sent off for a lunge at Lee Worgan in the 80th minute as both sides reached full-time a man short.
