Chelsea will not let Charly Musonda leave in January
Musonda hit out at Chelsea's handling of young players earlier this month in a cryptic message on Instagram.
The Belgian winger posted: "You sacrifice, you work hard, harder, you give more than what's expected, and often more than you can, because you love what you do and clearly more than you should.
"And what do you get back? Literally nothing… done."
The 21-year-old has made just four appearances this season, scoring just once in the 5-1 Carabao Cup win over Nottingham Forest last month.
There has been talk of Musonda leaving Stamford Bridge on loan in January in order to gain regular game time.
But according to the Evening Standard, Conte wants to keep Musonda around for rotation purposes as Chelsea fight in four competitions.
Conte admitted he plans to play fringe players Musonda and Kenedy when they take on Everton in the Carabao Cup tomorrow night.
He said: "I think this could be a good opportunity to give a chance to the young players like Charly Musonda, also Kenedy, young players who I think deserve the chance.
"They are working very hard, they are improving and we can see the improvement against Everton which is a tough game.
"It is important for me, important for the club. We will do this."
