Leaders St Mirren slipped up at struggling Falkirk as they were held to a 1-1 draw in the Ladbrokes Championship.
St Mirren went close to breaking the deadlock in the 20th minute when a short corner from Ian McShane found Cammy Smith who turned and fed the ball to Gavin Reilly, whose effort narrowly missed the post.
Nathan Austin wasted a great chance 10 minutes before the break for Falkirk when he was one-on-one with keeper Craig Samson but hit the side-netting.
Falkirk looked the best side in the second half but were unable to turn their dominance into a breakthrough as they slipped to ninth in the league standings.
