Stalemate between Championship strugglers

Falkirk and fellow Scottish Championship strugglers Inverness played out a goalless draw at Falkirk Stadium on Saturday afternoon.
The home side had the better of the early chances but Alex Harris and Joe McKee were both denied an opener before John Baird fired wide at the other end and Caley team-mate Liam Polworth had two efforts kept out.
Inverness goalkeeper did well to save Jordan McGhee's header just after the half-hour mark, while Joe Chalmers missed the target with a close-range shot five minutes before the break.
Baird had the best chance of the match two minutes into the second half but he fired wide after cutting inside the box, but the Bairns came back with a close effort of their own through Myles Hippolyte, who also narrowly missed the target before the visitors began to dominate - but neither side could break the deadlock as the spoils were shared.
