Dundee United stalemate moves Falkirk off bottom
Posted Sunday, September 17, 2017 by PA
Falkirk moved off the bottom of the Ladbrokes Championship table with a battling 0-0 draw at home against Dundee United.
Falkirk dominated early on but had little to show although they went close when a ball was flashed across the box on the half hour.
Fraser Fyvie volleyed just wide for Dundee United two minutes later before Falkirk's Craig Sibbald saw his header tipped over by visiting goalkeeper Harry Lewis.
As Falkirk pushed on for a winner in the second half Alex Harris was involved in their best moves, although he fired a free-kick over the bar in stoppage time.
