Ross Forbes scored his first goal of the season as Morton beat Queen of the South 2-1 to move up to third in the Ladbrokes Championship table.
Forbes put the visitors ahead after 16 minutes when he picked the ball up from Jai Quitongo and struck the ball past home goalkeeper Alan Martin.
Morton doubled their advantage four minutes later when Quitongo found the top corner of the net from 20 yards out.
Queen of the South's Derek Lyle pulled one back a minute later when he rifled home from the left side of the box.
Morton had a good chance to add a third goal in the 37th minute but Gary Harkins' header hit the woodwork.
