Busquets: Pep Segura didn't express himself in the best way

Gerard Pique's defensive work was singled out by Barcelona's general manager Pep Segura as the Catalans lost to Real Madrid on Sunday, but the centre-back's teammate Sergio Busquets was quick to defend him.
Los Blancos won the first leg of the early season Supercopa de Espana by a 3-1 scoreline and Segura claimed that Pique made an error, which determined the flow of the match.
"I do not agree with Segura," Busquets said on the matter.
"We did not only lose because of that, as they were good with their finishing.
"It was not lost because of one [Pique] play.
"[Segura's words] were not the best way to express himself and even more so as he is someone within the club."
Busquets did, though, agree that the game changed after Real Madrid's opener.
"The first half was good, as we had all the possession and were in control," he explained.
"Everything changed once the first goal went in, as we opened and they killed us on the counter, where they are unstoppable."
The second leg will be played at the Estadio Santiago Bernabeu on Wednesday, with the Catalans two goals down, but the third captain of the side still believes they can turn it around.
"We know that winning the cup is difficult, but we won't consider it lost and the most important thing is not to concede," he said.
"Scoring three goals will be difficult, but we have done it there before."
Brazilian Paulinho is to arrive and bolster the midfield, while there strong rumours of Philippe Coutinho and Ousmane Dembele following him to the Camp Nou, ad Busquets addressed the transfer activity.
"Paulinho is a type of player that we do not have, and he's an international with Brazil, one of the best teams out there," he said.
"I do not think we have to strengthen the squad just because of one defeat.
"That is the case every year, but the market is difficult, so hopefully the best possible will come in."
Commenting on Neymar's exit, the midfielder admitted that the Blaugrana had "lost attacking power" and that it'll be tough to replace it.
