Yeovil v Accrington
Posted Wednesday, August 16, 2017 by PA
Yeovil boss Darren Way could reward the players who produced a battling midweek display against Wolves for the Huish Park appointment with Accrington on Saturday.
Town bounced back from an 8-2 drubbing at Luton last weekend - their heaviest defeat since gaining Football League status - by pushing Wolves all the way before going down 1-0 in the Carabao Cup.
Way was particularly impressed with a tight defensive performance and the contributions of Tom James, Omar Sowunmi and Nathan Smith, who could now be in the mix for Accrington's visit.
Elsewhere, Way has confirmed that the Glovers have had talks with Birmingham over a possible loan move for Corey O'Keeffe, while the club have also announced defender Stephane Zubar's release as he tries to regain full fitness.
Janoi Donacien is set to return to the Accrington match day squad.
The defender sat out Tuesday's 3-2 Carabao Cup win over Preston at the Wham Stadium as a precaution having sustained a knock.
Boss John Coleman admits that cup game, for which he made five changes to his starting line-up, has left him with some selection headaches.
The victory made it two wins from two matches for Stanley so far this term, with them having beaten Colchester 3-1 at home in their League Two opener last Saturday.
