Zlatan Ibrahimovic Has Been Immortalised On Swedish Money

Striker Zlatan Ibrahimovic is the second most decorated active footballer in the world, with 33 trophies under his belt. Surely you'd think that would be plenty of recognition for his 18-year professional career?
Well, this could be the cherry on top, his face has been printed on the 1,000Kr (£93) note. The former Manchester United, Barcelona and Juventus player has uploaded a photo to Instagram, captioned: "You have Benjamin Franklin and you have me."
It's already received more than 620,000 likes and plenty of comments.
Devastatingly, the currency won't be actual legal tender, so fans won't be able to get their hands on the slick looking note, which was created by photographer Bingo Rimer.
But that hasn't stopped several people from getting their own versions and proudly displaying it
Give the people what they want Sweden.
The Nordic country's current 1,000Kr note features former UN Secretary-General and Member of the Swedish Academy Dag Hammarskjold on one side and a picture of Lappland on the other.
According to the Daily Mail, Zlatan was immortalised on five fake Swedish stamps in 2014, all showing the famous footballer dressed in the yellow of their national team.
Despite him playing for some of the biggest teams in the world, he's without a club at the moment due to a serious knee injury that he picked up towards the end of last season with Manchester United.
It's a shame for Zlatan himself that the currency isn't real, because I can imagine there would be no greater feeling than handing over some money with your own face on it.
