Huddersfield Offer Incredible Gesture For Their Fans After Promotion
Posted Tuesday, May 30, 2017 by thesportbible.com
Huddersfield Town completed their fairy tale season on Monday by winning promotion to the Premier League - and the club's board plan on rewarding long-term supporters.
Huddersfield started the season looking to simply avoid a relegation battle, but the brilliant leadership of manager David Wagner led them all the way to Wembley Stadium and a winner-takes-all showdown with Reading in the play-off finals.
It was a pretty turgid match, but Town managed to squeeze through a nail-biting penalty shootout and will now be playing the likes of Manchester United and Chelsea next season.
And if you've had a season ticket since 2009 or before, this afternoon's result would've been doubly sweet, as those supporters will be paying just £100 for their season books - a figure which equates to just £5.26 per match in some cases.
Huddersfield supporters who have held season tickets since 2009 will be able to buy one for £100 next season. Around £5 a game. Brilliant👏🏼

What a classy gesture from the club 👏 pic.twitter.com/FBjp4VtYnJ
We're sure you'll agree that it's a pretty classy gesture from the club's hierarchy - and surely it's about time other teams take note and follow suit?
What do you make of the pricing structure?
