Cagliari 2 - 1 AC Milan: Fabio Pisacane punishes poor Milan on last day

AC Milan endured an eventful and ultimately painful conclusion to their Serie A season as Fabio Pisacane's stoppage-time strike saw the Rossoneri slip to a 2-1 defeat at Cagliari.
Having already earned a spot in Europa League qualifying next season, Vincenzo Montella's side were playing simply for pride against a Cagliari team aiming to cement their position in mid-table.
However, they trailed after 17 minutes when Marco Borriello's free-kick was turned into the bottom left corner by Joao Pedro.
Things then went from bad to worse for Milan in the 64th minute when Gabriel Paletta was fouled by Artur Ionita, but Carlos Bacca saw his resulting penalty palmed away by home goalkeeper Luca Crosta.
Their fortunes took a temporary upturn nine minutes later when the Rossoneri were awarded another spot-kick, with Bacca winning the opportunity after drawing Crosta into an illegal challenge.
Gianluca Lapudula made sure the scores were level, finding the centre of the net as Crosta failed to make amends for his mistake.
However, joy was short-lived as Paletta was shown a second yellow card within minutes for a clumsy challenge on Han Kwang-son.
And the 10 men of Milan were unable to hold on until the final whistle, with Pisacane stabbing home on the rebound three minutes into stoppage time after Joao Pedro's initial shot had struck a post.
