Cerezo: Griezmann not leaving Atleti
Atletico Madrid president Enrique Cerezo has dismissed ongoing speculation that Antoine Griezmann will be joining Manchester United during the off-season.

The 26-year-old forward has been heavily linked with a move to Old Trafford after another fine campaign with Diego Simeone's side, which delivered 26 goals in 53 appearances.

Griezmann claimed earlier this week there was a "60 per cent chance" that he would sign for the Red Devils in the upcoming transfer window, but Cerezo has dashed their hopes.

The Atleti supremo was in attendance for the last official match at the Vicente Calderon on Saturday as Barcelona beat Alaves 3-1 in the Copa del Rey final, with Los Colchoneros set to move to the Wanda Metropolitano ahead of the new season.

"Will Griezmann be here? Well, no, he will be in the Wanda Metropolitano," quipped Cerezo when asked by reporters if the France international was staying put.

"He is going to be in the Wanda Metropolitano."

Griezmann has spent his entire career in Spain to date, coming through the youth ranks at Real Sociedad before making the switch to Atletico in 2014.
