Jealous dad? Goalie fumes about his daughter’s interest in Dani Alves

All eyes on Dani Alves

A story doing the rounds in South America in the past few days has focused on Daniela Butron, who is the daughter of Alianza Lima goalie Leao Butron.

Now 40, Leao Butron is one of the oldest players still playing in the Peruvian top flight.

Last week a spat between Daniela Butron and her dad Leao played out in public on social media, after Daniela tweeted about Juventus star Dani Alves. She wrote:

Seeing Dani Alves makes me happy!

Ver a Dani Alves me alegra el día❤️

Cue the backlash

Leao Butron reacted badly to his daughter's tweet.

He berated her on social media for wasting her time watching Dani Alves in action when she was supposed to be studying for university instead. He wrote:

Watching Dani Alves? I thought you were in college! What course is that, the history of Juventus?

Daniela replied to her dad as follows:

I was watching the game on repeat to analyse it and see if he can beat Real Madrid, so we are both happy!
