Exeter to name strong line-up for Carlisle clash

Exeter boss Paul Tisdale plans to field a strong side against Carlisle despite the Grecians having already booked their place in the Sky Bet League Two play-offs.

The two sides could meet again in the play-offs and Tisdale says he does not want to make too many changes at the risk of upsetting momentum which has brought three wins in four games.

However, midfielder Lee Holmes could make his first start since suffering ankle ligament damage on Boxing Day.

Full-back Craig Woodman is also in contention after recovering from a broken arm, but veteran midfielder Matt Oakley is set to miss out again with a hip problem.

Victory will ensure Carlisle clinch a top seven spot and Jason Kennedy is hoping to be fit enough for consideration.

The midfielder has not played for almost a month because of a groin problem and Blues boss Keith Curle will want to get some minutes in his legs ahead of a potential play-off campaign.

Defender Tom Miller was back in the squad after injury against Newport last weekend and made his return to action with a late substitute appearance.

Miller, along with Ben Tomlinson, James Bailey, John O'Sullivan, Shaun Miller and George Waring, are options for Curle should he wish to make changes to his starting line up.
