MANCHESTER CITY’S players cold scarcely have looked more relaxed as they warm up for Sunday’s FA Cup semi-final against Arsenal.

Etihad chief Pep Guardiola is itching to land silverware in his first season in England.

But there was no sign of that pressure transferring to his stars as Sergio Aguero, David Silva and Co smiled broadly in training.

Fourth-placed City know that third spot is perhaps the best they can hope for in the Premier League.

And, in fact, Guardiola might be wary of in-form Manchester United overhauling them to snatch the last Champions League position.

So the FA Cup is a huge opportunity for the former Barcelona and Bayern boss to give Etihad fans some cheer – especially as United chief Jose Mourinho has lifted the EFL Tropy in his first term.

England attacker Raheem Sterling also sported a wide grin as City prepare to take on Arsene Wenger’s Gunners.

But, in contrast, victory for City would leave Wenger grim-faced as speculation soars over his future.

The Frenchman insists he will clear up doubts over his future before the term ends.

But sixth-placed Arsenal are in severe danger of missing out on the Champions League for the fist time in 19 years.

So Sundays’s showpiece has far more at stake than than most FA Cup semi-finals.
